Creamy Wine Sauce With Shells Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Chablis or other Dry White Wine 
  • 1/4 cup Neufchatel Cheese with herbs and spices
  • 1 1/4 cup Medium Seashell Macaroni - uncooked
  • 1/4 cup Minced Onion
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • Vegetable Cooking Spray 
  • Ground Pepper



  • Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting the salt and fat.
  • Drain cooked pasta and set aside.
  • Coat a saucepan with cooking spray, and place over medium heat until hot.
  • Add onion and saute 2 minutes or until tender.
  • Add water and wine, and cook 1 minute.
  • Add cheese, and cook 1 minute or until well blended, stirring with a wire whisk.
  • Add pasta, tossing gently to coat.
  • Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. 
  • Sprinkle with pepper.


  Pasta Sauce - Serves 2 (1 cup each)
